Atlanta Celebrates Photography

Join More Than a Pose (MTAP) as we officially launch our first photo exhibition during the Atlanta Celebrates Photography Festival!

Loyall and Caron explore the diverse impact of yoga by capturing the raw emotions and beauty of individuals' unique journeys on their yoga mat. Sexual violence, stress, diabetes, and depression are just some of the harsh realities that we must overcome through self-exploration. The journey is where acceptance and love meet in the present moment - the only place we can experience true freedom.

More Than a Pose aims to inspire people to practice yoga and appreciate their unique journey, combining the art of photography and the art of each individual’s story.

Date: Saturday, October 22, 2016

Time: 7:30pm – 9pm

Location: Highland Yoga Grant Park, 332 Ormond Street Southeast

RSVP: morethanapose.eventbrite.com

Created by photographer Loyall Hart and yoga instructor Caron Christison, MTAP is an initiative to share yogis' stories of perseverance in order to create awareness and impact local communities and charities.

Atlanta Celebrates Photography aims to make Atlanta a leading center for the world's fastest growing art form. By producing the largest annual community-oriented photo festival in the US, we provide experiences that engage and educate diverse audiences through lens-based media.
